The Largest Flying Art Work
The Ameriquest Soaring Dreams Airship ProjectSM brought together nearly 5,000 children in after-school programs and pediatric care facilities from more than 50 cities in four states in an historic collaboration to create the spectacular Soaring Dreams Airship, the largest airborne art project in history. Together, the children learned the importance of collaboration, goal-setting and achievement. The participating youth applied more than 450 gallons during 72 separate painting sessions to complete the 40,000-square-foot canvas enveloping the Soaring Dreams Airship. The airship tours the skies of America as the airborne ambassador of the hopes and dreams of children everywhere.
